The Affordable Care Act

Look, Diane. I've asked a lot of folks about why the Affordable Care Act is important to them and gotten a lot of answers. Some are glad they won't have to worry about how they'll pay for their prescriptions, while others are relieved to finally have access to health insurance after years of being denied for a previous condition.

Health care is a personal thing, Diane, and an important thing -- and if we had helped just one person get covered, then I would have been proud of that. So you can only imagine how pleased I am that more than 16 million Americans have gained coverage in the five years since I watched President Obama sign the Affordable Care Act.

I hope you're proud, too, because your support helped make this happen. Take a moment to add your name right now, and let everyone know that you still stand with the Affordable Care Act -- no matter how many times the other side tries to repeal it:

Thanks for being a part of our progress, Diane.
