Diane -- President Obama has made his decision about who should fill the Supreme Court vacancy: Chief Judge Merrick Garland. Judge Garland has a sterling record that's led to bipartisan support throughout his career, and there is no reason why his nomination for the Supreme Court should be any different. He should get what every nominee in recent history has received: a fair hearing and an up-or-down vote. Anyone who says otherwise is playing partisan political games with the highest court in our land.
