Not the kind of poll you might be thinking of, Diane

DemocratsJoin us.
We only have 43 days left until Election Day. Help us make every one count -- pitch in $3 or more right now:

Diane --

Every so often, we'll send out the latest polls showing how our candidates are performing in key races around the country. This is a different kind of poll.

This is a poll of what voters expect Donald Trump would do if he were to become president. Take a look -- and then make sure you're doing everything you can to stop him.
  • 65 percent chance that Trump would use the power of the presidency against a political opponent
  • 54 percent chance the federal government would default on its debt
  • 54 percent chance that President Trump would create a database to track all American Muslims
  • 44 percent chance that he'd authorize internment camps for undocumented immigrants
  • 46 percent chance of Trump authorizing the use of nuclear weapons

The poll also breaks down what Trump's own supporters predict their preferred candidate will do as president -- and that's when things start to get really scary.

Because even the people who want Trump to win believe there's more than a one-in-five chance he'd launch our nuclear weapons, a one-in-three chance we'd default on our debt, and even money that Trump would create a national database that would track American citizens because they are Muslim.

To say that a Trump presidency would be catastrophic isn't hyperbole, Diane. It's damn near likely.

Tonight, millions of Americans will tune in to watch Donald Trump at the first presidential debate. Most won't have seen these dire predictions -- in fact, a large number will likely be paying attention to this election for the very first time.

It's on us to get the word out about what's at stake in this election, and what we'd risk by electing Donald Trump. We can't do that without your help. So before tonight's debate, can you pitch in $3 or more?
