They're back

Organizing for Action
Diane --

Today's the day. Senate leaders are finally back to work after their seven-week recess, and together, OFA supporters are welcoming them back with a clear, united call:

Do.

Your.

Job.

Fill the Supreme Court vacancy. Just do it.

There are 32 days until the Senate goes on recess again -- more than enough time for Senate leaders to hold a hearing and a vote on President Obama's highly qualified nominee, Judge Merrick Garland.

It's the Senate's job to give fair consideration to Supreme Court nominees, but they're not going to do it unless we remind them that it's their constitutional responsibility. Add your name if you're ready to keep up the fight.

The Supreme Court is too important to be subjected to the same divisive partisan politics that's prevented progress on so many other critical issues. The Court's focus should be on delivering justice to the American people, resolving legal disputes, and ensuring that the Constitution protects us all. Instead, they're working short-handed because of obstructionist leaders in the Senate.

That's unacceptable, and we shouldn't stand for it. The clock is ticking away the time that the Senate has left to act. We have to keep pushing its leaders to do the job they took an oath to fulfill. Now.

It's all hands on deck -- pressure Senate leaders to fill the Supreme Court vacancy before they go on recess again:
