Virginians voted to create the state's bipartisan redistricting commission because they hated the Republican gerrymanders of 2011. But the GOP is still at it:  | Are they serious? Do they think voters are going to tolerate this? Not if we have anything to say about it. Pitch in to hold Republicans accountable and fight for fair maps >>
Then there's Ron DeSantis of Florida, possibly the worst governor in the country. What's he up to? Apparently signing an onerous voter suppression law on Fox News wasn't enough -- now, according to Politico, he's calling for a "new Florida police force to go after election crimes" (what election crimes?).
And this is the guy who's charged with signing Florida's maps.
So we have two options here: We do nothing, Republicans keep cheating, and they destroy American democracy like experts are warning they could. Or, we hold them accountable and keep up the fight for fair maps -- but to do that, we need your help. Will you rush a donation right away?
