I don't know about you, Diane -- but after listening to some of the outrageous things that the Republican candidates have said, I am eager to know what our candidates have to say at next week's Democratic debate about their plans to keep moving the country forward. I know that each of our candidates will lay out a vision for our country that we can be proud to stand behind. So I hope you'll pledge to do everything you can to ensure that whichever Democratic candidate is our party's nominee becomes our next president. No matter what happens next week, there's one thing that we already know for sure: We simply cannot afford to let our opponents walk back the advancements we've made in providing affordable health care, acting to address the serious threat of climate change, and making marriage equality the law of the land -- and no matter which Republican we're up against, we know that this is exactly what they'll do. We've come too far to start over again.
