I'm in Las Vegas for our first Democratic primary debate tonight, and I couldn't be more excited. If you are too, say you'll be watching tonight.
We've already heard plenty from Republicans about restricting health care for women and their families, repealing Obamacare, cutting taxes for the rich, and pretending that the science of climate change just isn't real. But what we haven't heard much of is a plan for how we're going to strengthen our middle class and continue to provide opportunity for all. How we'll ensure equal pay for equal work, guarantee that our kids and grandkids will inherit a safe planet from us, or find ways for our young people to afford access to higher education.
That's where Democrats come in -- and that's why it's so important that you watch our candidates tonight. So I'm asking you to tune in so you know where Democrats stand as we get deeper into this election.
All the work we've done together over the past few years has been truly groundbreaking, Diane. The difference between our two parties is pretty clear, and we are the only ones that care about putting Americans first.
So if you're as excited about hearing from our candidates as I am, then say you'll tune into CNN tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET -- we'll send you a reminder right before showtime:
This'll really be something, Diane. You don't want to miss it.
All the best,
Amy K. Dacey
