Trick-or-treat

Halloween is next weekend, Diane -- and in my house, that means a lot of discussion about costumes, strategizing about the routes with the best candy, and probably a little competition over who brings in the biggest haul. But that's not all that happens next Saturday: October 31st is our end-of-month fundraising deadline here at the DNC, and we're also hoping to bring in a haul to be proud of. We're working towards a goal of 30,000 online donations by midnight on the 31st -- can I count on you to pitch in $10 or more before then? Right now, we're just over a year out from Election Day 2016, and now is the time to really get serious about the next 12 months. When we're making the big decisions about how we can most effectively support our eventual nominee and great Democrats up and down the ballot, all across the country, resources matter. We need to go into 2016 as strong as possible -- and that means every deadline becomes that much more important.
